Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in St. Paul! We look forward to meeting your family and getting to know your child. We realize that finding the right independent school can be filled with many questions. 2. Submit Application
Applications are open for the 2026-2027 school year. The fall admissions calendar will be published in August 2025.

3. Provide Teacher Recommendations & School Records
Provide teacher recommendation, an optional family referral, and school records (1st-6th grade). Please request school records after the first semester grades of the year have been recorded. All documents can be requested through the St. Paul Admissions Portal.
4. Readiness Assessment
All applicants are required to take an on-campus readiness assessment. J4 and JK readiness assessments are offered in November. Kindergarten-6th Grade readiness assessments are offered in January and February. The fall admissions calendar will be published in August 2025.
5. Shadow Day for Grades 1 - 6
Applicants for 1st - 6th grade will be paired with a student in their current grade and attend classes for a portion of the day.
6. ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) Assessment Grades 3-6
The ISEE is an entrance exam which is required for all students applying to grades 3-6. We consider an applicants complete academic picture during the admissions process and take multiple factors into account when making admissions decisions.
St. Paul's school code is (432547). Please note that the ISEE is a separate assessment from the readiness assessment. Parents will sign up for the ISEE independently and then choose a testing location and date convenient for their family.
