Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in St. Paul! We look forward to meeting your family and getting to know your child. We realize that finding the right independent school can be filled with many questions. Our admissions team is here to work with you each step of the way, and you are welcome to contact our team at any time with questions. 2. Submit Application
Applications are open for the 2023-2024 school year. The preferred applicant deadline for Junior Kindergarten applicants is November 1, the preferred deadline for K-6 applicants is December 1. Applications are accepted throughout the year and considered where space permits. Admissions decisions will be announced by email on March 4, 2023 for K-6 applicants. Junior Kindergarten decisions will be announced by email on January 10, 2023. Applications are accepted throughout the year and considered where space permits.

3. Provide Teacher Recommendations and School Records
Provide teacher recommendation, an optional family referral, and school records. Please request school records after the first semester grades of the year have been recorded. All documents can be requested through the St. Paul Admissions Portal.
4. Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten Readiness Assessment
All JK and kindergarten applicants will need to schedule a readiness assessment through the admissions portal. JK Readiness Assessments are offered in November and December 2022. Kindergarten readiness assessments are offered in January and February 2023.
5. Shadow Day for Grades 1 - 6
Applicants for 1st - 6th grade will be paired with a student in their current grade and attend classes for a portion of the day. You can schedule your Shadow Day through the Admissions Portal.
6. ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) Assessment Grades 3-6
The ISEE is a benchmark entrance exam that is a component of the various pieces of the applicant file for grades 3-6. All applicants will be holistically reviewed and not solely on one part of the application.
