Carpool

General Carpool Guidelines and Rules

NO CELL PHONES – Please help us keep the children safe and the line moving by not being distracted by your phone!

EARLY DISMISSALS – Students who are being picked up early for appointments, etc, must be picked up before 2:45. After 2:45 students will be dismissed during carpool only.

WALK UPS - If you walk up to pick up your child, you must park in front of the church parking lot on the Hillsboro Pike side of the church. You will proceed up the stairs through the church to the McGuffey portico. Please wait at the top of the steps by the glass doors and present your carpool number to the staff member on the front steps of McGuffey. After your child is brought to you, you may proceed back through the church to your car.

CARPOOL NUMBERS - Have your child’s number hanging from your rearview mirror. This includes the numbers of any other students you are picking up. Extra numbers can be attained by emailing kjones@stpaulchristian.org.

CENTER LANE - When entering the campus, please move to the center lane and remain in that lane until you enter either McGuffey or the Carrier Circle carpool line.

KNOW YOUR CHILD’S SCHEDULE - If your child has practice, tutoring, music lessons, Bible study, etc., be aware of those days and do not pick them up until the appropriate time.

4th GRADERS - If you have a child in J4-3rd and a 4th grader, instruct your 4th grader to come to McGuffey Hall at the beginning of carpool at 2:55 and pick all children up at one time in one place.

YOUR CHILD’S KNOWLEDGE OF CARPOOL – Make sure your child knows their carpool number and encourage them to listen for their number and come down quickly to be placed into your vehicle.
