Ms. Sarah Blair
Assistant Head of School for Business and Operations

Sarah holds both a B.B.A. and M.Acc. from Belmont University, and came to St. Paul in 2016 after serving for 11 years in nonprofit leadership. As the Assistant Head of School for Business and Operations, Sarah directs all aspects of St. Paul’s financial management, physical plant needs, and day-to-day operations. Her goal is to ensure that each student, family, and faculty member has the resources and support needed to flourish in the St. Paul community.

Mrs. Susan Cobb
Assistant Head of School for Academics &
Upper School Division Head (3rd-6th)

Susan holds a B.A. from Davidson College, and came to St. Paul in 2009 after having taught in Buffalo, NY and staying at home with her three children, all St. Paul graduates from the Classes of 2010, 2012, and 2016. As Assistant Head of School for Academics, she oversees all aspects of St. Paul’s academic program. This includes curriculum, educational philosophy, and standardized testing for all grades. She also serves as the Upper-School Division Head, overseeing all the faculty and students in third through sixth grades.

Mr. Mitchell Despot
Director of Marketing and Communications

Mitchell attended Lipscomb University and graduated with a degree in communications and a minor in political science. He started his career at McNeely, Pigott & Fox Public Relations and was Lipscomb Academy's Director of Communications for five years. As Director of Marketing and Communications, Mitchell serves the communications and marketing needs of all areas of the school from admissions and advancement to athletics, spiritual formation, arts, academics, after-school programming, and the office of the Head of School. He is a father of one, a current student of St. Paul expected to graduate in the Class of 2028.

Mr. Bobby Huff
Director of Operations

Bobby holds both a B.S.E. from Delta State University and an M.S. from Mississippi College, and came to St. Paul in 2010 after having previously served as an administrator in schools in Nashville and Mississippi. He is the father of four children: two graduates from the Classes of 2011 and 2018, and two other children. As Director of Operations, he is responsible for St. Paul’s physical plant, carpool, technology program, and security.

Mrs. Ashley Larmer
Director of Development

Ashley holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, and joined St. Paul in 2017 after serving in a variety of development roles in the political, higher education, and independent school arenas over the last fifteen years. As Director of Development, Ashley leads St. Paul's development efforts to secure vital financial resources, which help the school thrive, and oversees the alumni relations program, which strengthens relationships between the school and the alumni community. Ashley’s goal is to advance St. Paul’s mission by connecting and partnering with those who share a passion for St. Paul.

Mrs. Amy Nickels
Lower School Division Head (J4-2nd)

Amy holds a B.A. from Carthage College and an M.Ed. from Trevecca Nazarene University. She came to St. Paul in 2002 as a kindergarten teacher, worked in the Office of Admission for a year, and in 2012 transitioned to her role as the Lower School Division Head. As Lower School Division Head, she oversees all the faculty and students from junior fours through second grade. Amy is also the mother of three St. Paul graduates from the Classes of 2007, 2011, and 2013.

Mrs. Beth West
Director of Admission

Beth holds a B.A. from Western Kentucky University. She came to St. Paul in 2019 as the Director of Admission after serving as a parent volunteer for several years, including the Co-President of the Parent Council and chairing St. Paul's signature fundraiser, the Saints Bash. She also previously served as the Executive Director of The ALS Association Tennessee Chapter. Beth has two children: a daughter in the St. Paul Class of 2020, and a son in the Class of 2024.
