Sarah Blair

Assistant Head of School for Business and Operations

Sarah holds both a BBA and MACC from Belmont University and came to St. Paul in 2016 after serving for eleven years in nonprofit leadership. As the Assistant Head of School for Business and Operations, Sarah directs all aspects of St. Paul’s financial management, physical plant needs, and day to day operations. Her goal is to ensure that each student, family and faculty member has the resources and support needed to flourish in the St. Paul community.


Susan Cobb

Assistant Head of School for Academics

Susan holds a BA from Davidson College and came to St. Paul in 2009 after having taught in Buffalo, NY and staying at home with her three children (all St. Paul graduates in the Classes of 2010, 2012, and 2016). As Assistant Head of School for Academics, she oversees all aspects of St. Paul’s academic program. This includes curriculum, educational philosophy, and standardized testing for all grades. She also serves as the Upper School Division Head, overseeing all the faculty and students in Grades 3-6.


Luke Brown

Director of Athletics

Luke holds a BA from the University of Mississippi. He came to St. Paul in 2014, and in his physical education classes, he is one of the few people who sees every student every day. As Director of Athletics, he ensures that all of St. Paul’s sports teams are organized effectively, equipped to compete to the best of their ability, and driven by the mission of the school. He also coaches our football and boys basketball teams.



Libby Glisson

Director of Enrollment Management

Libby holds a BA from Auburn University and an M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University and worked for St. Paul as a volunteer and the mother of two girls (Classes of 2015 and 2017) long before she was officially employed by the school. She currently directs all of St. Paul’s efforts in the areas of admission and re-enrollment, and helps to get new families integrated into the St. Paul school community.


Bobby Huff

Director of Operations

Bobby holds both a BA from Delta State University and an MA from Mississippi College and came to St. Paul in 2010 after having previously served as an administrator in schools in Nashville and Mississippi. He is also the father of four children – a son in the class of 2018, a graduate (Class of 2011), and two other children. As Director of Operations, he is responsible for St. Paul’s physical plant, carpool, technology program, and security. He is also the school's liaison to the Parent Council.


Kristen Jones

Executive Assistant to the Head of School

Kristen holds a BSN from Samford University and came to St. Paul as the school nurse and office assistant in 2014. In 2015, she transitioned to her current role in which she assists Dr. Powell in innumerable ways. If you have a question about the school schedule, the transition to 7th grade, reserving space on campus, scheduling a meeting with Dr. Powell, or about a great deal many other things, then Kristen would be a great place to start.


Ashley Larmer

Director of Development

Ashley holds a BA from Vanderbilt University and joined St. Paul Christian Academy in 2017 after serving in a variety of development roles in the political, higher education, and independent school arenas over the last fifteen years. As Director of Development, Ashley leads St. Paul's development efforts to secure vital financial resources—which help the school thrive—and oversees the alumni relations program—which strengthens relationships between the school and the alumni community. Ashley’s goal is to advance St. Paul’s mission by connecting and partnering with those who share a passion for St. Paul.


Amy Nickels

Lower School Division Head

Amy holds a BA from Carthage College and an M.Ed. from Trevecca Nazarene University. She came to St. Paul in 2002 as a kindergarten teacher, worked in admissions for a year, and in 2012 transitioned to her role as the Lower School Division Head. As Lower School Division Head, she oversees all the faculty and students from junior fours through second grade. Amy is also the mother of three St. Paul graduates (Classes of 2007, 2011, and 2013).


Kay Strom

Assistant Director of Enrollment Management

Kay holds a BA and MS from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She came to St. Paul in 2014 as both the school registrar and assistant in admissions. In addition to these roles, she is also the Director of Financial Aid. She oversees the financial aid process, assists with the admission process, and manages report cards, transcripts, and other student-related information. Kay is also the mother of two St. Paul graduates (Classes of 2012 and 2016) and a current student (Class of 2019).
